Teredo Trophy

Presented 1979 By Don Tyrell

This 'Teredo Trophy' for yachts in the Group A - Vancouver Area Racing Council (VARC), honours craftsmen of Coal Harbour, who from 1879 until 1979 built Canada's finest pleasure and commercial craft.
Removed from the demolished wall of Burrard Shipyard as the area was leveled. It was donated by Don Tyrell to mark the end of an era in Vancouver's waterfront history.
